Why glycerin in soap?
Glycerin is naturally produced during the soap making process. In fact, pound for pound, glycerin costs more than soap, which is why most soap companies remove the glycerin from the soap and sell it to manufacturers of lotion. Most all soap has some glycerin in it, but our glycerin soaps contain larger amounts because it is wonderful for both dry skin and sensitive skin.
How is glycerin soap made?
Glycerine soap is made from a cold processed or similar hand made soap base. The glycerin soap is made translucent through a process using alcohol and sugar. Our soapmakers only use love and care when making our soaps!
